    Warm staff, therapy; safety concerns

I had a mixed experience. On the plus side the staff I met were warm and engaging, the activities, music, happy hours and therapy (PT/OT/speech) were outstanding, the campus and rooms were clean and homey, and many residents seemed happy. However I also witnessed worrying problems - inconsistent nursing, poor communication, missed meds/meals, hygiene/incontinence lapses, falls and safety concerns - so I'd recommend touring, asking detailed clinical questions, and confirming staffing/medication/rehab procedures before choosing.

    About Triple Creek Retirement Community

Triple Creek Retirement Community sits in an easy-to-get-to spot and people come here for all sorts of reasons, like the fact that you can pick what kind of help you need, whether that's Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing, so if folks are healthy and want their own space, the Independent Living Villas have roomy places with walk-in closets, private patios, washers and dryers, even attached garages so it's more like living in your own house except you're in a community where everything is easy to get to and there's always someone around. Some people need more help, and Assisted Living is designed for that, with private or semi-private suites that each have a full bathroom and walk-in shower, support for things like bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and a kitchenette for small meals if you like quiet mornings, while others benefit from extra services like memory care suites built for people living with Alzheimer's or other dementia so they get special programs, personal care, and security to prevent wandering or confusion.

The campus is built for comfort and getting around is easy, with flat walking paths, outdoor lounge areas like a covered patio and pretty courtyards, lots of community rooms filled with armchairs and flat-screen TVs, and a quiet library for reading, plus there's a salon so people can get a haircut without leaving home. Meals come from restaurant-style dining rooms where chefs fix food that fits many diets, and folks can eat together or chat in the bistro, ice cream parlor, or picnic at the community BBQ area, and if someone wants a private dinner with family, there's a special dining room for that.

Many regular services are folded in like weekly or bi-monthly housekeeping, laundry, trash service, and 24-hour emergency maintenance, and every suite or villa is smoke-free for safety and health. The facility has a gym with classes for people at any fitness level, and a full activities calendar that includes art, music, computers, and even history or performing arts classes. There are reminders for meals and activities, as well as medication management for folks who need it, and the nursing team at Triple Creek is trained for things like pain control, diabetic care, nutrition planning, and incontinence help, and can even support those who don't walk so well.

When short-term rehabilitation is needed, or skilled nursing after a hospital stay, the care team can handle physical, occupational, and speech therapy right on campus, and there's 24-hour emergency call response in every room to give peace of mind. Triple Creek is approved by Medicare and Medicaid, and by United Healthcare, and is part of Trilogy Health Services, which offers consistent support and information about senior care options and costs. Moving assistance helps new residents settle in, WiFi and cable are available throughout, and people often stay active with lifelong learning programs, walking outside, or relaxing in the community lounges where the fireplace is always warm. Everything from memory care support to simple companionship is available on site, making it a place where folks' needs can change and there's still a plan for their care.
