    Cozy attentive care; pricey, limited

I toured this small, five-resident, home-like facility and felt immediate peace of mind from the attentive, compassionate staff, hands-on RN owner (Shannon), 24-hour nursing, therapists on staff, high caregiver-to-resident ratio, pleasant decor, outdoor access and calming touches like aromatherapy. Service felt personalized and high quality, but it's pricey (non-refundable community fee and high monthly rates), staff sometimes showed inexperience/conflict, the location was hard to find, and there were no openings when I visited. Overall excellent, cozy care if the cost and timing work for you.

    About Eden Care Homes

Eden Care Homes offers a senior living community in a peaceful neighborhood, with houses that look and feel like regular family homes and only five residents in each, so everyone gets more attention and care than you'd often find in bigger places, and the caregivers work around the clock to help with all sorts of daily needs like bathing, dressing, walking, medication, and even managing diseases like diabetes and Alzheimer's, which is extra helpful when folks need more support as they age. The rooms come with furniture already in place and have accessibility features-wheelchair access is built right in-while some are studio apartments and others are semi-private rooms, so people can pick what makes them most comfortable, and staff have special training and certification, which helps families feel at ease about the care their loved one gets. There's always something going on, too, with activity programs, resident musical groups, gardening, arts and crafts, and places to sit and relax outside along the walking trail or in the shade by raised flower beds, and if you need help with laundry, housekeeping, or getting a meal made special for allergies or diabetes, that's all included, along with emergency alert systems for safety. Meals get served in a group dining room or by room service with options for special diets, and there's even high-speed internet plus spaces for games and crafts which let people stay busy and social, and pets are allowed close by, which can be good for folks who get lonely. They've got registered nurses overseeing care, work with in-home doctors if needed, and offer help for higher care needs too, like memory care and incontinence support, and the staff go through background checks, drug tests, and other screenings for safety and peace of mind. Costs are all-inclusive and there's help for VA benefits or other financial needs. Community sentiment gives them an average rating of about 3.8, and most families feel the smaller size and home feel make it easier for seniors to adjust and form bonds, and every aspect-from the eclectically decorated inside to the quiet yard outside-is focused on making this a safe and comfortable place for older adults needing both simple and specialized care.
