    Caring staff and beautiful grounds

I moved my mother here and couldn't be happier. The staff are genuinely caring and professional (24-hour nursing on site), activities are plentiful - exercise, yoga, games, outings and in-house entertainment - and transitions were easy. The riverside grounds, gardens, ponds and walking paths are stunning, her ground-floor apartment opens to the outdoors, and dining is restaurant-style with a long-tenured chef and generally excellent meals. The facility is well-maintained, pet- and garden-friendly, and close to medical care and shopping. A few dining and exterior updates have been slow and pricing can be high, but overall I highly recommend this warm, safe, active community.

The meal program serves healthy, tasty food and they take care with ingredients, and there are flexible dining choices, including riverfront dining, which means folks can eat with a view, and they can always join in on special events like winery tours, opera outings, theater nights, book clubs, concerts, or line dancing. No one's left sitting still unless that's the plan, since they have lots of options like Nordic walking, spiritual reflection, and fitness classes, plus there's always a current schedule of things to do and learn, with everything from brain games to group social hours and devotional services, both on- and offsite. Residents get light housekeeping, laundry, and meal services included, and they'll even help people move in with relocation services-they really do a good job trying to make sure folks feel at home as soon as they arrive, with staff to meet needs or just offer a friendly chat.

Transportation's taken care of with a concierge and complimentary rides and valet parking, so getting around Eugene or running errands is simple. They keep everyone informed with a newsletter and encourage new friendships and new hobbies by offering programs to nourish the mind, body, and soul. The facilities focus on making things easy but also lively, with recreational options for different interests, and the staff's known for being warm and welcoming, which gives the place its calm and inviting atmosphere. There's an emphasis on safety, community, and structure-everything's designed to help residents live well and stay connected without feeling overwhelmed or left out.
