    Nice facility, unsafe and understaffed

I placed my mother here because the building is modern, bright, clean and the courtyard, dining rooms and social atmosphere are lovely. Many staff were warm, helpful and kept us informed (Shakira and Emily stood out), and meals and activities can be good. Unfortunately the place is chronically understaffed-memory wing nights often had no staff, calls went unanswered after hours, and caregivers were inconsistent. We experienced unsafe care: no real care plan for my mother, poor hygiene (left unchanged, wiped incorrectly), residents entering her room, missing items, a roommate feces incident, and poor management follow-through. At $5,190/month the cost felt unjustified; some teams are wonderful, but overall I would not trust it for someone needing reliable medical or memory care.
