    Rapid decline under new management

My mother moved in quickly and many of the caregivers were genuinely caring, hardworking and helped her settle into a very clean, spacious apartment - I saw real improvements in her mood and wellbeing. Unfortunately under new ownership/administration (Mosaic/River Park) things have declined: the place is severely understaffed, staff are overworked, the front desk isn't manned 24/7 and response times are often delayed. Food is poor, the lead cook has been rude, and there's verbal harassment among residents. Maintenance and safety are worrying - wiring/light issues, stink bugs in ceiling fixtures, and small things like a banana left on the food cart (latex/isoamyl acetate allergy risk) that could trigger reactions. Some staff and executives are supportive, but overall the administration changes have created an unloving atmosphere. I'm looking for a new place and cannot recommend this facility under current management.
