    Beautiful facility, but staffing issues

I placed my grandmother at Willow View and overall had an amazing stay: the grounds are beautiful, rooms are bright and homey, activities plentiful, in-house medical and dementia care are well executed, and owner Mike and many staff were helpful (they even assisted with the move from South Carolina). Most caregivers were patient and caring and residents were friendly, but I witnessed troubling staff turnover, understaffing, and occasional unprofessional/uncaring behavior (yelling, hung-up calls), and the small house needs updates and has shared-bathroom issues. Communication around billing was poor-payment delays and non-responsiveness created a real credit-risk-and the cost is high. I would recommend Willow View if you can afford it, but be cautious about billing and variable staff performance.
