Quince Nursing and Rehab Center sits on Quince Road and has provided long-term care since 2010. The center focuses on residents with mild cognitive impairment and delivers personalized care, which covers help with bathing, dressing, moving, medication, and daily living tasks. People who live here can take part in activities like movie nights, music, resident-run events, and things sponsored by the community. The building has areas like a game room, library, fitness room, barber and salon, a garden, spa/wellness room, and walking paths that make days more enjoyable. Rooms are modern, with air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, and space for personal wardrobes and makeup, along with private restrooms that are cleaned often.
Quince offers care through assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and respite and restorative services, so residents with different needs can get support. There's a team of clinically trained staff who make care plans for each person, and there's a Second Winds Dream Partner program to help bring new experiences to residents. For those that need it, the center provides therapy services like physical, occupational, and speech therapies, both for short and long stays, and offers outpatient rehab too. Rehab programs focus on recovery after a hospital stay or after surgery and cover specific needs like orthopedic, neurologic, pulmonary issues, and more complex medical problems. Therapy covers things like post-surgery rehab, stroke recovery, sports medicine, wound care, cardiac care, ambulatory training, balance, falls management, and special treatments like cognitive linguistics, dysphagia therapy, and speech/language therapy. Programs for urinary continence and contracture management, along with comfort and positioning needs, are also available.
Residents can choose between private and semi-private rooms, with communal areas for social times and large activity rooms used seven days a week. The Center has state-of-the-art therapy equipment and offers enhancement therapy as well. It has Medicare and Medicaid certification, offers CNA training, and is a part of the Tennessee Health Care Association and a social care platform. Quince Nursing and Rehab Center puts effort into making days meaningful and keeping care personal, always focusing on safety, rehabilitation, and a good quality of life.
