    Compassionate care but serious concerns

I had a mixed experience. The rehab team and several compassionate staff were exceptional, and new administration has made visible improvements - bright, cleaner spaces and strong therapy that helped recovery. However, persistent problems (poor communication, missed or mishandled meds, understaffing, cleanliness/odor issues, missing belongings and occasional hospital transfers) are serious red flags, so I recommend with caution and only after verifying staffing, med management, and family communication.

    About Cedar Creek Post Acute

Cedar Creek Post Acute sits at 2560 N Mount Juliet Rd in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and offers a wide range of services for seniors needing different levels of care, so you'll find things like assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing all in one place, and they have an Assistant Director of Nursing named Alex Starks, LPN, and a Nursing Home Administrator named Ty Wahlin, LNHA, who help manage a caring team. The company operates as a public organization with between 51 and 200 employees, so you won't feel lost in a crowd, and people say the staff show real empathy, skill, and compassion when helping residents, especially those who might need help with daily activities, medication, or managing health issues. Cedar Creek Post Acute provides daily living support that's personalized, with round-the-clock care every day of the week, and the whole staff works to make sure folks stay as healthy as they can in a clean and safe environment.

Residents can use on-site parking, enjoy air conditioning, and take part in activities in spacious living areas like a dining room with restaurant-style meals planned by chefs, a garden, fitness room, beauty salon, gaming room, and a small library, and every room is fully furnished, with kitchenettes and private bathrooms available, whether you're in a private or semi-private unit. Cedar Creek Post Acute won't let people smoke anywhere on the property and makes sure meals meet different diets and taste preferences, so everyone can eat meals they enjoy and can have their needs met even if they have special dietary rules. For folks who just need a little help for a while, there's respite care available, and they have skilled nursing and rehabilitation for anyone needing extra medical attention, therapies, wound care, or support after a hospital stay, with speech, physical, and occupational therapy, too.

Memory care services are aimed at those with Alzheimer's and dementia, so safety and support are part of daily life, and special programs help residents feel engaged and connected. Social, mental, and emotional well-being are part of daily life at Cedar Creek Post Acute, so there are regular activities that help people bond and stay active, and transportation services help residents get off-site when needed. The front desk is available every day from 8 am to 8 pm, with 24/7 admission support, and the facility is a member of the AHCA, supports Medicare, and offers CNA training programs right there on-site. There are safety and inclusion policies connected to LGBTQ+ residents, and accommodations are made for different backgrounds and needs. Cedar Creek Post Acute has a warm, homelike setting where the team always focuses on health, dignity, and quality of life.
