    Clean renovated community, caring staff

My mom absolutely loved this clean, newly renovated, friendly community - staff were kind, attentive and communicative, activities and meals helped her be social, and it's convenient to doctors and family. We were grateful for the caring caregivers (and A Place for Mom's help) - she was comfortable and well looked-after much of the time. Be aware of rising costs/extra charges at the Paris location and some reports of management turnover or disorganization. We did notice occasional gaps in personal care (help with dressing, incontinence, hearing aids) for some residents, so I'd recommend it overall but advise confirming care plans and fees up front.

About Charter Senior Living of Paris

Charter Senior Living of Paris sits in Paris, Tennessee, as a single-story, family-owned senior living community tied to Charter Senior Living, with an executive team that brings over 100 years of experience in senior housing to its careful planning, and you'll find residents living in alcove, studio, deluxe studio, or one-bedroom apartments, all with floor plans meant to fit different needs, including for those who need more help or seek more independence, and if someone wants to live with a pet, that's welcome too, especially with the front porch and landscaped gardens outside for enjoyment. The community gives options for independent living, continuing care, assisted living for folks who need help with things like bathing, dressing, meals, or medication but do not need full-time nursing, and memory care for those living with dementia or Alzheimer's, with the Flourish℠ memory care program focused on keeping folks safe while supporting memory and well-being, and the dedicated staff builds custom care plans and offers support around the clock, so everyone gets attention that fits just right.

Residents get daily meals, social events, worship services, therapy, pharmacy help, and and can use both the resource library with computers and the beauty salon, plus, weekly game nights, fitness classes, movie nights, and happy hours fill the calendar, and there's always a chance to meet someone new in the reading lounge or card room, whether they want company or simply time in the well-kept indoor and outdoor common areas set up for peaceful gatherings or active fun. Flourish℠ Programming and daily activities aim to promote happiness, connection, and purpose, and experienced caregivers look after residents as though they are family, keeping the environment warm, homelike, and full of friendly faces, and even those coming for shorter stays-maybe after surgery or so a caregiver can take a break-are welcomed through respite care programs that fit different recovery needs. Visitors can come any time, day or night, and staff always aim to treat everyone with kindness, working hard to understand residents' unique situations, big or small.

Health care services are on hand every day by licensed nurses, and transportation is available for outings, appointments, or errands in town, which takes a little pressure off needing to drive or manage trips alone. For those who want to keep their spirits strong, devotional services happen both inside and outside the community, and for those navigating memory loss or caring for someone who is, there are guidebooks and resources available-including "Empowering Your Retirement," "Seeking Support," and "Knowledge Is Comfort"-to help families understand what to expect and how to manage daily life, and special pricing, community brochures, and tours, both in-person and virtual, are available if someone wants to see things for themselves. Charter Senior Living of Paris holds steady to the mission of enhancing the human spirit of everyone-residents, families, and staff-while building a space where people feel safe, respected, and valued each and every day, and with a 4.6 out of 9 reviews, folks who've been there tend to have good things to say about the way the community works to feel like home.
