    Safe caring community with activities

I live here and feel safe, well cared for, and comfortable - the facility is clean, modernized, and the grounds are well maintained. The staff are warm, engaged, and supportive (they even helped me as an atheist), and there are many activities, seasonal events, church services I enjoy, and I've made friends - my mobility and alertness have improved. Meals are OK with low-salt options, value seems fair, and it's a short commute with family welcome. It may not suit very opinionated people or those wanting more privacy, but I would recommend it.

    About Valley View Senior Living

Valley View Senior Living offers a wide mix of services and housing options for seniors, with a focus on comfort and safety, and the property comes with both independent and assisted living, senior apartments, condos, and townhomes designed for older adults who want to age in place while getting just the right level of help, and there's memory care in a separate building for those who need extra support. Residents have access to staff 24 hours a day, including nurses and awake staff ready to respond to emergencies, while caregivers help with daily tasks like grooming, dressing, dining, medication management, and moving from bed to wheelchair for those needing extra assistance, and there's incontinence care and diabetic support, including help with insulin and reminders for restroom use, though residents do need to self-manage some health needs. The facility serves three daily meals in a restaurant-style setting, with choices guided by a registered dietician, and there's housekeeping, maintenance, and laundry services so residents can focus on enjoying life, while housing choices include studios and one-bedroom suites, both private and shared, with emergency call systems in each room and 24-hour building security in place for peace of mind.

Valley View Senior Living provides a lot of activities, including bingo, arts and crafts, exercise sessions, trivia, Bible study, singing, journaling, gardening, story time, contests, picnics, pool, balloon tennis, volunteer work, and cooking classes, and there's space indoors and outside to gather with friends, including a front porch, main parlor, salon, billiard room, gardens, and chapel, allowing for both social and quiet moments as residents prefer. Residents can access an in-house pharmacy, see a nurse practitioner or therapists, and receive support from a ministry team, and the community also gives access to guides for senior safety, senior care resources, technology help like cell phones or internet plans, medical alert system guides, and hearing aid support. There's transportation for errands and appointments, though it comes at an extra cost, along with parking for those who still drive, and the facility allows some pets so residents can stay close to their companions.

Residents here can use home security and medication dispensers as part of the safety features, and the staff focuses on care, dignity, and comfort, providing hospice care, respite care, companion care, and nursing care services as needed. Regular devotional services happen both onsite and offsite, and a beautician helps residents with hair and grooming right on the property, while the whole team at Valley View Senior Living tries to create a place that feels like home, values faith, and treats everyone like family, encouraging friendships and an active lifestyle through daily events and gathering spots meant to keep everyone connected and engaged, even as care needs change over time.
