The Oasis at Beaumont sits about two miles outside Beaumont, TX, and offers many different care types for seniors, like assisted living, memory care, independent living, and skilled nursing, and the place stays open and staffed all day and all night, every day of the week, so folks can count on help when they need it, and along with these, they've also got home care, respite care, and even hospice care if someone needs extra support. This community focuses on age-friendly care and pays attention to things like what matters most to each resident, medication, mental health, and staying active, and they try to help folks talk to their healthcare providers about their health, their wishes, medicines, and goals. The Oasis at Beaumont's care team includes licensed nurses around the clock, and therapy services like physical, occupational, and speech therapy, plus pain management, wound care, recovery from things like stroke or joint replacement, and therapy for heart or breathing problems, diabetes, and other common health concerns. There's in-house dialysis, on-site radiology and ultrasound, cardiac and respiratory care, and programs for folks who need help with mobility, memory, or daily life. They offer private and semi-private studio rooms, and the grounds include outdoor courtyards and gardens, gazebos, porches, as well as a cafe-style dining area. Folks can enjoy animal therapy, Wii-Hab, salon and spa services, transportation, family lounges, housekeeping, laundry, internet, phone, and cable TV. Activities and social programs run throughout each week, with lots of chances to meet others, try something new, or spend quiet time in nature. The facility posts its performance data with government reporting, and it's earned the Age-Friendly Care Center designation, though the nursing home section currently holds a 1-star rating from Medicare and a 6.7 score out of 10 from public reviews, ranking it 14th in the city, so families can see how the services actually compare in the area. The Oasis at Beaumont runs as a for-profit company and offers both long-term and short-term stays, with studio-style rooms and many support services to help older adults stay as independent and safe as possible.

Caring staff, worrying safety issues
I've had mixed experiences. Staff are genuinely caring, listen, treat residents like family, and new ownership/updates have improved activities and satisfaction, but the facility can smell, my grandmother didn't want to stay, and a missing-person incident with delayed police contact and poor communication about a weak, non-ambulatory resident left me very worried about safety.
