Juliette Fowler Communities is a faith-centered nonprofit organization with a rich history dating back to 1892. Named for Dallas’ first female philanthropist, Juliette Peak Fowler, the founding vision was to create an intergenerational home that would serve elders, children, and youth. Today, that vision continues to thrive as the community has grown into a dynamic and inclusive environment dedicated to making a difference in the lives of its residents and those it serves.
The community offers a diverse array of services tailored to older adults, who may choose from a variety of living arrangements such as independent living apartments, assisted living, memory care, and affordable senior housing. In every setting, there is a strong emphasis on belonging, excellence, and the pursuit of meaningful engagement. Juliette Fowler Communities is especially noted for its memory care program, having achieved the distinction of being certified as the only “I’m Still Here Center of Excellence” for Dementia Care in North Texas. This recognition highlights the community’s commitment to providing innovative and compassionate care for residents living with dementia.
Children and youth are also an integral part of Juliette Fowler Communities, which offers a range of community-based services as well as residential programs. Among these are the acclaimed “Programs of Distinction,” designated by the nationally recognized Generations United. These programs reinforce the community’s legacy of fostering intergenerational connections, growth, and mutual support.
Juliette Fowler Communities is nestled in East Dallas, making it easily accessible to shopping, restaurants, the Arts District, and major medical centers. The organization takes pride in being a place where everyone belongs, striving each day to love people, pursue excellence, and make a tangible impact on the greater community. At its heart, Juliette Fowler Communities remains a beacon of hope, compassion, and innovation for all generations.
