    About Sunrise On Hillcrest

Sunrise On Hillcrest sits in a three-story building with both stone and stucco on the outside, lush landscaping, trees, and a nice patio that has comfortable seating so folks can enjoy quiet moments outdoors, and sometimes you'll see residents walking along the several paths or relaxing in the garden courtyard, taking in the fresh air and the scenery. You'll find all sorts of living options here, with one- and two-bedroom units, studios with kitchenettes, bathrooms, dining, and sitting areas, plus private suites that have oak cabinets, refrigerators, comfortable beds, nightstands, and large windows that let in a lot of light and offer peaceful views. Residents can bring their own touches to personalize the space to make it feel like home, pets are allowed, and the common areas have a small, friendly feeling where the staff know everyone by name, with living rooms that have fireplaces and TVs, quiet libraries with books, games, and puzzles, and dining rooms that offer full-service refreshment bars and a focus on fresh, good meals. Sunrise On Hillcrest offers assisted living for seniors who need help with things like bathing, dressing, or medication, independent living for those who want their own space with some support, and memory care with safe and calming neighborhoods, including the Reminiscence Program and Terrace Club, set up for folks with Alzheimer's and dementia so they get specialized support, safety, and help staying engaged. There are on-site skilled nursing and short-term stays too, for those who need more care for a short time or while recovering, and Dignity Home Care services for seniors who live at home. Hospice care is available, as well as a Health and Wellness Navigation Program, so residents and families can get help planning. Sunrise CareConnect, an electronic health record system, helps the staff keep track of care, medicine, and changes, and there are telehealth visits so most routine medical needs can be handled without leaving home. There's transportation for outings and errands, and the building has high-speed internet, handicap-accessible features, and allows pets so folks can keep their companions close. Activities and fitness programs happen daily, with lots of effort to match these programs to what each resident likes, and meals are served with choice and dignity in mind. Sunrise On Hillcrest is proud of its over 280 National Quality Awards, the most for any assisted living provider, and the staff aim to support every resident's quality of life, whether someone needs a lot of help or just a little. Veterans and their spouses may get help with costs, and there are guides and tools for caregivers who need to plan, as well as funding options like home sale proceeds and insurance use. Sunrise On Hillcrest has served seniors for more than 35 years by fostering independence, safety, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

    About Sunrise Senior Living

Beginning with a single community in 1981, there are now more than 280 Sunrise Senior Living communities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Each of our communities maintains the mission laid out by Sunrise founders Paul and Terry Klaassen more than 40 years ago: to champion quality of life for all seniors. The Klaassens’ vision to redefine senior care resulted in a resident-centered approach to care that focuses on the individuality of each resident and has set the standard in the assisted living industry. We are defined by our people. Our team of serving hearts are guided by our mission, Principles of Service and Values – all of which help encourage independence, preserve dignity and enable freedom of choice for each resident.
