The staff is trained in memory care and provides special support for folks with Alzheimer's and other dementias, offering secure environments set up to help people with cognitive problems feel safe, comfortable, and supported. They have activities for residents, a steady community calendar, news, events, and a weekly newsletter so people can keep up with what's happening, and they offer both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care depending on what someone needs. They pay close attention to personal care, create personalized plans for each resident, and their therapy programs-physical, occupational, and speech-help people recover, stay as independent as they can, and make daily life a bit easier. They have inpatient rehab, post-surgery recovery, and short-term respite stays if families need a break. Every bit of care runs under the idea that each person is different and should get the right support, and every service keeps health and safety at the front. The building features amenities for both comfort and medical care, taking care to promote well-being in body and mind, with dedicated programs for memory support and a focus on both long-term recovery and quality of life. Caring staff, understaffed; inconsistent care
I love the caring, hardworking staff - they're attentive, helpful (even with transport), and keep a clean, homey facility where visitors feel welcome. However, chronic understaffing has caused real lapses in patient care and frustration around dementia support, and phone/communication is poor. Leadership (the new administrator/ADON) seems passionate and has made improvements, but I'd hesitate to place a loved one until staffing and care consistency are more reliable.
