    Welcoming start, unsafe and unprofessional

I had a mixed stay: employees were welcoming and hospitality was excellent at first, but management felt unprofessional and overly profit-driven. I saw front-desk staff sleeping on couches, doors left unlocked so I couldn't enter at night, residents yelled at and called names, and I witnessed theft of personal items and medications. Overall it felt unsafe with improper care - I can't recommend it; find a place with better staff.

About Vincent Victoria Village Assisted Living

Vincent Victoria Village Assisted Living sits in Forest Hill, Texas, right on the I-20 corridor between Fort Worth and Arlington, making it pretty convenient for families who want to visit and giving residents easy access to shops, restaurants, parks, grocery stores, and places of worship nearby, and you know, sometimes folks like to get out and see a bit of what's around, so that's a nice touch, especially when the scheduled transportation gets used for those outings or even just errands. The place is a licensed assisted living community managed by Purple Door, LLC, and they've got 80 licensed beds with 75 private and semi-private suites, most of which have kitchenettes, full bathrooms, spacious closets, and heating and air folks can control themselves, which helps keep everyone comfortable no matter their preference.

They focus on helping seniors with daily living tasks, providing 24-hour personal care, and really making sure people get the right amount of support but can also enjoy a bit of independence, which isn't always easy to find these days, especially at a cost that's usually less than you'd pay at a full-time nursing facility, though just to be clear, they don't take Medicare unless the government officially certifies the place, so you'd want to check on that before making any decisions. The staff provides personal laundry services, plans and prepares balanced meals, and lines up recreational and physical activities that get people moving and socializing, which matches their aim of putting residents and companionship first, following what they call their "Where Caring Begins" and "Residents First" ideas, which you hear about when talking to folks there or taking a tour, which they invite people to do when they want a look around.

All care and activities get supervised through local and state government surveys, and since this is an assisted living place in Texas, they have a focus on housing and care for seniors who are still active but could use some help with things like bathing, dressing, or reminders about medications. Amenities cater to comfort and encourage social gatherings, from group activities to meals together, and the building's design keeps elderly residents in mind, though no fancy frills or named programs were listed in the information. So, all in all, Vincent Victoria Village Assisted Living serves as a straightforward assisted living option for older adults and their families who want peace of mind and daily support in a community setting, where folks can expect kindness, companionship, and a steady helping hand when needed.
