Warm attentive care, inconsistent communication
I moved my mom here and overall I'm impressed: the caregivers (Toni, Stephanie, head nurse Darlene and many others) are warm, attentive and professional, memory care is well run, the food and activities are excellent, and the building is beautiful and resort-like - my mom is thriving. Staff greet residents with smiles, maintenance and director are responsive, and I get regular updates and photos. That said, communication and accountability have been inconsistent (slow responses, staffing hiccups at move-in, a few broken promises and maintenance issues), and I'd advise confirming referrals, training/documentation and any guarantees in writing. If you tour, ask pointed questions - for us it turned into a wonderful home once operations stabilized.
