    About Ashwood Court

Ashwood Court is a senior living community that offers assisted living, independent living, memory care, home care, and dementia care within the same place, so residents can get more help as their needs change, and there's a memory care center right inside the community for people living with Alzheimer's or other types of dementia, where staff help residents stay safe and comfortable with therapy, health monitoring, and environments set up to reduce confusion and encourage independence, and the staff includes experienced professionals who provide care 24 hours a day and can help with daily tasks like bathing, walking, dressing, transferring in and out of bed or chairs, medication management, and eating; they're also ready for emergencies with a wireless emergency call system, fire alarms, and sprinklers throughout the building. The apartments have private suites, studio, one-bedroom, and semi-private two-bedroom/shared rooms, all designed for comfort and safety, many of which have kitchenettes, TV, and safety features, and there are beautifully landscaped courtyards, enclosed gardens, and both indoor and outdoor common areas for people to enjoy fresh air, socialize, or relax. The kitchen staff cooks home-style meals every day, with choices for different diets like vegetarian, low-salt, or low-sugar, and residents eat together in a shared or private dining room, plus guest meals are available, and the community offers room service and weekly housekeeping and laundry. Amenities include a library, game room, TV lounge, meeting rooms, onsite beauty and barber shop, a piano or organ, free Wi-Fi, free cable TV, and plenty of spaces for activities, though there aren't currently specified activities, but residents do have opportunities for social, recreational, and devotional events both inside and outside the community, including transportation to shopping, doctor appointments, and local events, which can be complimentary or paid, and resident parking is available, and the community supports religious services for multiple faiths, sometimes with a visiting chaplain. The team can help monitor blood sugar for diabetics, can provide help with transfers, can support residents who manage their own incontinence, and welcomes adults aged 55 and older. People can smoke outside, and residents are encouraged to stay active and engaged, though there's an extra fee for a second person moving in, plus monthly fees change based on the level of care-low, medium, or high-and there are charges for daily respite care and a one-time community fee. Ashwood Court, a Renaissance Senior Living Property, offers a warm, friendly atmosphere, with staff dedicated to helping each resident feel at home and respected, all while focusing on independence, personalized care, and safety for those who live there.
