    Beautiful facility, caring professional staff

I placed my mom here and couldn't be happier. The facility is beautiful and spotless like a nice hotel, the staff (especially Kay in admissions) are friendly, professional and very caring, residents seem happy and it's a warm, family-like atmosphere - I highly recommend it.

    About Crossroads Assisted Living

Crossroads Assisted Living sits in a well-kept, homelike environment where seniors get help with daily needs like bathing, dressing, and taking medicines, and the staff gives 24-hour supervision and looks after each resident with kindness-there's a licensed capacity for 16 people with License #308518 from the state of Texas, which means the place never gets too crowded and most of the time, neighbors get to know each other in a way that feels more like family than a facility. Folks who need more support can stay in either suite assisted living units or in semi-private and one-bedroom settings, and there are memory care and board and care options specially shaped for seniors living with dementia or memory issues and the set-up there helps reduce wandering and confusion with secure, calming areas-while staff stay ready to help with things like transfers, housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, grooming, meal prep, and even handling special diets like for diabetes or allergies, which matters because it takes some worry off everyone's plate. Movie nights, daily activities, and community-sponsored events keep folks from feeling bored or lonely, and transportation is on hand for doctor visits or errands, plus you'll find Wi-Fi, cable TV, phones in rooms, and a big garden with walking paths for fresh air and good stretches of the legs.

Medical staff can give minor medical help, like first aid for small wounds, and if nurses are needed, sometimes they're right on site, though the main job is helping with non-medical needs to make sure each person still feels as independent as possible. Crossroads Assisted Living supports folks with activities of daily living but still lets them keep their routines and hobbies, and in the independent living communities, people enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle with social activities, while those requiring more care, like in skilled nursing or memory care, get the close attention and supervision they need-memory care units even have tailored programs and memory-enhancing activities, which helps lower stress for families worried about loved ones wandering. Meals are served in a dining room with scheduled times, and there's always support with moving in, so the transition doesn't feel so overwhelming.

Amenities at Crossroads include transportation and parking, walking paths, a garden, and furnished rooms, so comfort and safety are never far away, and the attentive staff treat each resident as an individual, meeting unique needs and offering personal care that doesn't just go by a medical diagnosis. There's an online shop for premium flower arrangements, including bouquets like "Dreaming of Tuscany," "She's Got Style, She's Got Grace," and "Sweetest Surprise Pastel Bouquet," with seasonal flowers such as roses, lilies, and tulips, and same-day delivery and free delivery with codes keep things convenient when friends or family want to send a little joy, just like you'd hope for in a close-knit, caring place like this.
