The Park in Plano gives residents different care options like skilled nursing, assisted living, hospice, short-term rehab, respite, and memory care, and the staff work hard to make the environment both comfortable and compassionate, so people feel at home, and you can tell they're always aiming to meet everyone's individual needs with a long list of services-things like wound care, diabetes and medication management, help with daily activities, and care for people who've had surgery or strokes or who have neurological conditions. There's a therapy department people say is fantastic, and the physical, occupational, and speech therapy staff help residents regain strength and function, and the rehab-to-home and restorative programs mean folks get support whether they're staying for a little bit or for the long haul, plus in-house dialysis, vent care, and services for veterans. The home has a qualified team taking care of residents, offering things like nutritious meals made by culinary experts every day, laundry and housekeeping, transportation to appointments, dental, eye, and podiatry services, and one of the things that makes this place stand out a bit is how they try to keep families in the loop with a Care Portal, a payment portal, and regular updates, along with a customer care line so folks can ask questions or bring up concerns. Residents can take private tours if they want to see the place for themselves, and they get access to activities that keep them social and active, including religious services, beauty and barber visits, and lots of engaging programs. The Park's focus really centers on creating a home-like setting where each person has respect and care, and the staff aim to provide skilled, patient-centered support for a wide range of healthcare and everyday needs, plus you'll see veterans affairs help and options designed for people at many different stages or health situations, in partnership with the Creative Solutions in Healthcare family.

Caring staff, poor facility conditions
My experience was mixed. The nurses, therapists and activities staff were genuinely caring - rehab, food and social programming helped my loved one and family communication was often strong - but the older building has recurring cleanliness and safety problems (urine odor, soiled linens, flies), slow call-button response, inconsistent management and some rude front-office staff; I'd only recommend it with close oversight.
