Traumatizing care, some compassionate staff
I had a mixed-and at times traumatizing-experience. Some staff (Melissa included) were friendly, caring and helpful, the rehab team and activities were good, and meals improved, but too many others were cold or incompetent: therapy was inconsistent, bathing and hygiene were poor, the facility reeked of urine, residents were ignored or left in soiled briefs, belongings were repeatedly stolen or damaged, and management often dismissed complaints and financial disputes. I appreciated the compassionate people I met, but I don't trust this place overall.
