    Homey but expensive; monitor closely

In my experience at Rose Hill it felt homey, very clean and small, with a lovely yard, fresh meals and a rich activities program; staff were caring and attentive, the owner was personally involved, and we made many good memories. That said, the monthly cost was high (~$5,000), I saw occasional lapses (missed meds/meals, some unprofessional behavior), and I heard serious complaints from others - visit in person, ask detailed questions, and monitor care closely.
