Good therapy, bad nursing, filthy
I had a deeply mixed experience. The front-line staff, rehab therapists, dietitians and kitchen were often kind, energetic and the gym/OT-PT were excellent. But nursing care was frequently unacceptable - medication delays, poor wound care, denied basic needs, severe weight loss/dehydration and at least one theft left me alarmed. The first floor is bright and renovated with nice activities and outings, yet upper/back areas felt dirty, cramped, smelled of urine, had soiled sheets/roaches and tiny shared rooms. Communication and medical oversight were inconsistent (doctors scarce, management defensive). Short-stay rehab may be fine; for long-term or high-acuity care I would not trust this facility.
