    Beautiful compassionate memory care excellent

I placed a loved one here and I'm extremely pleased. The brand-new, beautiful memory-care community is clean, safe and home-like; staff (Bianca, Justin and the whole team) are compassionate, professional and consistently go above and beyond with personalized, dignified care. Residents are engaged with plentiful activities and tasty meals, and the visible, proactive team gave our family real peace of mind. Communication is generally excellent, though out-of-state updates could be smoother. I highly recommend - 10/10.

    About Lansdowne Heights

Lansdowne Heights is a private assisted living community that focuses on memory care, offering services for seniors with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other cognitive issues, and families like that the place is both owned and operated by a family, so there's a friendly, person-centered approach that people notice. There are 60 studios with multiple floor plans and each studio has a private bathroom and state-of-the-art amenities, so residents can live comfortably and feel at home, and the rooms are secure and comfortable, which means families can worry less about wandering. The community gives 24-hour care with registered nurses and certified dementia practitioners always on-site, so residents get medical help quickly when they need it. The caregivers and administrative staff work to know each resident's needs, and families see them as attentive and kind because they take time to get to know both residents and families. Medication management, help with bathing and dressing, and other daily needs are all part of what they do every day.

They've set up the building with layouts that help seniors with memory impairments, making it easier for folks to get around without getting lost, and the outdoor spaces are both landscaped and secure for residents to enjoy fresh air and sunshine without much worry. Lansdowne Heights offers personalized care plans, which means every resident gets the support they need, and the wellness spa and beauty salon/barber shop give residents chances to feel good about themselves. The dining rooms feel cozy and homey, with meals cooked by a chef, restaurant-style, and each menu gets a certified dietitian's approval, so there's both taste and nutrition, and people seem to appreciate the homestyle approach. Live entertainment and monthly support groups for families, as well as twice-yearly social events, help residents and their families feel more connected, and there are always social activities going on, with a 24/7 activities calendar and programs designed just for seniors dealing with memory problems. Many people say the recreational activities and social events are fantastic, and the iN2L technology keeps everyone engaged, whether they're learning something new, playing a game, or staying in touch with friends and family.

Residents can spend time in communal areas built for gathering, where they take part in wellness programs or group activities, helping minds and bodies stay active. The staff at Lansdowne Heights keeps things running with both compassion and professionalism, and families often say they go out of their way to help everyone settle in. Support services go beyond the basics to offer specialized therapies for people with dementia, aiming to reduce confusion and help prevent wandering, and the whole place has a warm, inviting feeling that puts people at ease. Lansdowne Heights stays connected with the community through its Facebook presence where families and friends can see what's going on, and everyone who visits remarks on the kindness and dedication of the people who work there.
