    Welcoming staff, good value, cautious

I toured and felt genuinely welcomed - staff (Kate and others) were warm, informative and clearly caring. The rooms are bright, homey and spacious, dining is restaurant-style with a praised chef, and there are lots of activities, outings, on-site therapy and a convenient location near the mall/hospital. It's a smaller, generally clean community with safety features, reasonable pricing and ongoing renovations under new ownership. Downsides: the building is older and needs upgrades, there are reports of staff turnover/communication and occasional care or cleanliness lapses, and availability/parking can be tight. Overall I'd recommend visiting in person - great staff and value, but verify current staffing and unit condition.
