    Warm community, excellent care, programming

I live here and couldn't be happier with the staff - attentive, responsive and truly family-like - and the warm, sociable community. Programming is outstanding (lectures, music, art, a huge library, outings and lots of clubs) and the dining is excellent. Apartments are well-laid-out and bright, and the walkable, central location is ideal. Downsides: it's expensive, some units are small and the older building needs occasional updates. Overall: excellent care, lively community, worth considering if budget allows.
