    About Oak

Oak - CLOSED used to be a senior living community that offered a range of care options for older adults, including assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and independent living, so people could get help with daily activities, medication management, meals, and personal care if that's what they needed, and there were places for those with Alzheimer's or dementia where staff gave 24-hour support and special programs to help with memory; people who needed lots of medical attention had access to rehabilitation, wound care, and full nursing support around the clock, and others wanting fewer worries could live more independently with maintenance-free living, resort-style amenities, and chances to join social activities. Oak accommodated different group sizes, ranging from some homes with just 3 or 4 beds, up to larger settings with room for 8, 32, 71, and even 90 assisted living units, so families had options for finding the right fit. The facility held several licenses, such as numbers 13793, 13191, 15054, 15890, 10908, 8727, and 15895, and served as an Adult Family Home or board and care setting in a residential neighborhood, giving options for smaller groups of residents and more personal attention. People got housekeeping, laundry, linen services, and help with moving in, with fully furnished rooms, private suites, and shared rooms, air conditioning, kitchenettes, cable TV, telephone, and internet services, plus private bathrooms for comfort. Dining options met special diets, including organic meals and diabetic or allergy-sensitive foods, with meal preparation and scheduled or all-day dining available in the dining room. Gardens and walking paths gave outdoor space, and there were transportation services for doctor appointments and errands, as well as parking. Residents got 24/7 supervision, a call and emergency alert system, wheelchair access, hospice waiver services if needed, and standby help for personal care like dressing, bathing, feeding, or transfers, with community activities to keep people engaged. The memory care units stayed secure, included ongoing support and special activities to help memory, and the facility handled people with mild cognitive impairment. Oak didn't accept Medicare as payment unless certified, but it played an important role for families needing care and peace of mind for a loved one. Oak - CLOSED is no longer operating and doesn't offer any services or amenities.
