    About Double-Day Quality Home

Double-Day Quality Home is a Board and Care Home where experienced professionals, including registered nurses with over 25 years of practice, look after seniors who need help with things like bathing, dressing, and moving around, so you'll see the rooms and common spaces are always kept clean and comfortable, and each home usually has only five residents, which means staff can focus on every person's needs, and it isn't crowded, you get a peaceful feeling since the homes sit in quiet, friendly neighborhoods that support people who have Alzheimer's or dementia. Residents can enjoy three homemade meals each day, can hang out in recreation rooms, the garden, or the reading room, and folks can take part in planned activities like music, animal visits, tabletop games, and relaxing outside, plus movie nights and social events, and with a good staff-to-resident ratio, caregivers help with bathing, grooming, incontinence, dressing, and even getting in and out of the tub. There are special programs for memory care and support for those with cognitive needs, plus the facility is fully secured to keep people safe from wandering. Double-Day Quality Home also offers services for different diets, including help for those with diabetes or high blood pressure, and if someone needs to see a doctor, head to a restaurant, visit a church, or just take care of errands, transportation can be arranged, since there are two hospitals, nine pharmacies, several shops and cafes, a theater, and both public and private transportation close by. There are modern amenities like handicap access, Wi-Fi, a hot tub, sauna, reading room, and a mobile barber or beauty shop, too, and people can bring their pets. Residents can take part in exercise and fitness programs, and the community supports spiritual needs with places of worship nearby. The board-certified Memory Care program can care for up to 74 people in total, but the individual homes stay small and familiar.
