Willamette Falls ACH is a small and cozy board and care home where staff like Christina and Jonathan are known for their compassion, and the house feels more like a warm family environment than a business, offering room for 10 or fewer residents who get help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and personal care in private rooms with private bathrooms, safety features, and wheelchair-accessible showers, plus there are indoor common areas and a big outdoor deck and garden where residents can relax, take in the fresh air, or enjoy visits with family. The home provides nutritious, family-style meals three times daily, prepared with special care by cooks like Christina, and residents can take part in both on-site and off-site activities, social events, and outings, with on-site beauty and barber services available, so folks can keep up with their grooming and feel confident if they wish. Residents receive personalized support for high-acuity needs, like incontinence, wound care, or help after a stroke, and there's care for those with memory problems like dementia and Alzheimer's, and the staff speaks English, Spanish, and Romanian, and can help with things like medication management, diabetes, and even feeding tubes if needed, plus a nurse and caregivers are on-site day and night, with a doctor, dentist, and other specialists on call as well. This is a faith-based community with devotional services both on-site and off-site and transportation to places of worship, and there's a calendar full of social, physical, and mental activities, some inside the home and some out in the community, which helps everyone stay active and connected. The house has a fenced backyard, WiFi, TVs in private rooms and shared areas, and parking for residents, though it's smoke-free and vape-free indoors, and pets aren't allowed, and there's respite and hospice care offered for those who need short-term stays or end-of-life comfort. Staff work hard to treat every resident like family, everyone gets a say in their routines to encourage independence and dignity, and the community's been recognized with awards for its social activities and overall environment, so folks can feel comfortable, well cared for, and at home. The monthly cost for a private room is $5,500, and all services are private pay.
