      Warm compassionate care peaceful passing

I found a warm, clean, calming home with kind, comforting staff and attentive RNs who provided personalized, safe care that made our loved one’s passing peaceful and far less stressful. Activities were limited and it’s a very small community, but I’m deeply grateful and highly recommend their compassionate, superb accommodations.

About Kind Heart Home Personal Care for Elderly

Kind Heart Home Personal Care for Elderly is a small board and care home in Austin, TX, tucked into a quiet neighborhood, where only three residents at a time can live, and that means everyone gets plenty of attention and care from the staff, who know how important little things are, like keeping everything clean and making sure meals are good and served hot, and there's always a focus on treating everyone with respect and dignity, so people feel like they're part of a family and not lost in a crowd. The owner's a registered nurse with 30 years of experience, and having someone like that around gives families some peace of mind, especially since there's always help for things like taking medicine, getting dressed, or reminders about eating, plus a doctor, dentist, podiatrist, and nurse can all be called when needed, and for those who need more care or are at the end of life, hospice services are available too. There are special services for high acuity or diabetic care, so those with more complex needs aren't left out, and the showers are wheelchair accessible so folks with mobility concerns don't have to struggle, and if people want a bit of spiritual support, devotional activities are offered, sometimes even offsite. Kind Heart Home isn't fussy, but it's got what matters, like indoor and outdoor spaces to sit, private rooms with calming touches, meals provided every day, beauty and barber care, and a rule against smoking so the air stays fresh, and pets are welcome for residents who need their animal friend, which makes things a little homier. When activities are planned, they're simple and suited to the group, though when just one resident is living there, there may be fewer group activities, but outings can still happen since transportation is included or can be arranged for an extra cost. The place is calm and quiet, more like a real house than a big facility, with a staff that helps with grooming, laundry, and just about anything a person can't manage anymore, so even as needs change, people get to stay comfortable and safe. Facilities with names like Anderson Mill Assisted Living, Live Oak Estates, Alpha House III, and An Angels Place are all part of the wider care options, with expert advisors and an online list showing prices, reviews, and photos, plus ratings that go from 4.5 to 5.0 stars, helping families pick what's right for them. The staff focus on building strong relationships, and they try hard to make sure everyone can keep their independence, feel safe, and stay as happy as possible-even more so because they've got backgrounds in physical therapy and elder care. Meals are served every day, indoor and outdoor common areas are open for everyone, and even beauty and barber services are right there, which makes daily life a little nicer, and if pets are part of someone's life, they're welcome, as long as the rules allow. There's no smoking allowed inside, and the whole philosophy is to support people with kindness, patience, and lots of attention, with the goal being comfort and calm, especially for folks in their later years or reaching the end of life. Kind Heart Home Personal Care for Elderly keeps things simple, peaceful, and reliable, with extra attention thanks to the small number of residents, and a price of $3,800 a month for a private room, trying to meet every want and need as best as possible.
