      Mixed care, major safety concerns

I had a mixed experience: the grounds and common areas are well kept, the meals and activities are thoughtful, and several staff (one exceptional caregiver in particular) were kind and professional. However, the building is old and cramped, rooms feel overcrowded, cleanliness is poor (bed bugs reported), staffing and management seem negligent - a resident went missing with delayed notification, there were reports of assault, and my loved one lost 18 lbs and declined. I would only recommend this place for fairly independent seniors; I would not trust it for anyone with cognitive issues.
