    Caring staff, excellent rehab, homey

I placed my grandmother here and was immediately relieved - the staff and administration are exceptionally caring, attentive, and genuinely family-like, and she truly feels loved. Care and therapy exceeded expectations with better-than-expected rehab outcomes, creative daily activities, spiritual life/chapel, and delicious meals adapted to her needs. The campus is clean and homey, with cottages, transportation, plenty of engagement options, and it gave our family real peace of mind. Minor negatives: the building shows its age and staff can be overworked at times, and their strict face-to-face admission policy and long distance could be a problem for some families.

    About Presbyterian Village

Presbyterian Village sits at 500 Brookside Drive in Little Rock, Arkansas, and provides several types of care for aging adults under the name Presbyterian Village, Inc. The community has a single-story layout with private and semi-private rooms, and you'll find cottages with different floor plans for independent living. They offer independent living, assisted living, memory care, adult care home, and residential services, so people have choices based on what they need as they get older, and there are short-term rehab services for folks who need extra help after a hospital stay before heading home. There's a Skilled Nursing Facility for those who are frail and need ongoing nursing or intermediate care, and the health care center on-site means residents don't have to go far if they need more medical attention.

People can bring their pets, and the grounds have security measures in place, which gives peace of mind. Exercise classes and tai chi are part of the regular activities, and there's a library, beauty and barber salons, and scheduled transportation so folks can keep up with daily routines or get to appointments. The call system in each room lets residents reach staff right away if there's help needed. Presbyterian Village welcomes people from different backgrounds and holds religious services, Bible study, devotions, and Sunday worship led by a staff chaplain. They focus on offering choices and different care types, which means people don't need to leave the familiar setting as needs change over time. The community tries to create a healthy, secure, and welcoming environment, with special options for memory care and support. Support and referral services are available, and home health, hospice, and home care services mean people can get extra help when needed, so it's not all or nothing. The community relies on an ecumenical approach, and its range of amenities and services aims to help residents feel comfortable as they age in place.
