    Compassionate staff great food pricey

    I placed my mom here and overall I'm glad I did. The staff are outstanding-compassionate, responsive, and well-coordinated with on-site nursing and rehab-and the dining is restaurant-quality with servers who learn preferences. The campus is beautiful (hillside Monterey Bay views, gardens), spotless, and full of activities, though it's expensive, rooms are on the small/dark side and privacy can be limited; I did notice occasional management/care lapses. All told, I'd recommend it for the great food, caring staff, and strong rehab services.
