    Lutheran Living Senior Campus sits at 2421 Lutheran Dr in Muscatine, Iowa, and brings together independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing all in one place, so people can stay in one community as their needs change, and you see, the campus covers about everything from Woodland Hills Town Homes for active seniors who want maintenance-free living, to the Cottage Apartments for independent living, which also has home health services, all the way to Valley View Assisted Living apartments for those needing personal care and help with everyday activities, where every apartment has kitchenettes and accessible showers, and, over in the Health Care Center, there's long-term skilled nursing, a specialized memory care program for residents with Alzheimer's or other dementia, and a new 24,000 square foot Transitional Care Center that focuses on short-term rehabilitation using advanced technologies to help folks get back on their feet and home again. Lutheran Living offers 24-hour emergency call systems, chapel services, spiritual care, a reading room with Internet, sunrooms, patios to sit outdoors, and even a Jacuzzi to relax, and if someone wants, nutritious meals get served daily, with housekeeping, laundry, and transportation handled as needed, plus there are beauty shops, an ice-cream shop, coffee shop, and places to gather, and you'll find pet-friendly policies, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and scheduled tours if you ever want to look around, and some of the things that happen here include activities, events, a big prom each year they call "A Night to Remember," along with volunteer opportunities, blood drives, and a way to send e-cards to residents, all with help from a staff trained to assist with daily living, medication, health monitoring, and all kinds of therapy needs-physical, occupational, and speech-so you can see why many people have trusted Lutheran Living since 1885, with its doors first opened by Reverend Henry Reinemund and supported by Elizabeth Hershey, and more recently recognized by the 2023 Bronze - Commitment to Quality Award from AHCA/NCAL, and it's the only Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in the area that truly does offer the full spectrum of care and residence types in one campus.
