    About Newcastle Place

Newcastle Place sits on a 52-acre campus in Mequon and is managed by Life Care Services®, an LCS® company, and it aims to serve seniors in a Life Plan Community setting, and over there you'll find independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and short-term rehab all in one place, which can make things easier as care needs change because residents don't have to leave the community they know if they need more help. Residents can choose private suites with attached bathrooms, and there are aging in place options. The grounds have paved walking paths, landscaped gardens, and courtyards, so there's plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors, and inside, you'll see both indoor and outdoor common areas for meeting friends or relaxing with neighbors. Accessible showers help folks with mobility, and there's parking right for residents. People can bring pets, which can help make it feel a bit more like home, and the community does allow pets.

There's home care available, so if home is the place where a person wants to stay as long as possible, trained aides can help with chores and companionship. The nursing staff provides care, and there are therapy services including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, all within the community, so it means help comes to you. The place has respite care for short stays and hospice care for end-of-life needs. People who want activities will find things like chef-prepared meals, a heated indoor pool, aquatics center, wellness center, exercise classes, and a fitness center, so there are things to do and places to go, with games like bridge and clubs and cooking classes as well. The community is close to Milwaukee, so there's access to cultural events and outings, and there are both onsite and offsite activities to keep people busy.

For personal care, there are beauty and barber salon services, massage, and spa services. Maintenance staff keep up both the inside and outside of the buildings, which lends itself to hassle-free living. Meals are included, and they focus on nutrition and good ingredients. Residents can use free transportation for trips to medical appointments or local events. There are devotional services for people with spiritual needs. The memory care area is set up for people with Alzheimer's disease or other types of dementia, so there's support for wandering and routines to help with confusion. Assisted living covers daily needs like help with bathing, dressing, or medications for those who need some support, and independent living works well for folks who can still handle things on their own but want a social, maintenance-free setting. The skilled nursing area covers rehab and long-term care, for folks recovering from illness or needing more support. The community provides a safe, maintenance-free setting, focused on health, wellness, and letting people stay as active and social as they want to be, plus there are both interior and exterior maintenance options, making things easier for residents who don't want to worry about repairs or yardwork.
