This nonprofit, faith-based senior living community serves adults age 55 and better and focuses on building life-enhancing relationships, providing caring services, and maintaining a strong sense of fellowship and spirituality. Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center offers a five-star skilled nursing unit, specialized memory care, outpatient rehab, salon and spa, and weekly housekeeping and dining with three meals daily in The Willows.

The open concept, dementia-friendly design improves wayfinding, and floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light, while secure indoor parking is available in certain apartments. Residents can enjoy a natural setting with walking trails, prairies, wooded paths, and easy access to lakefront activities like pontoon boat cruises, kayaking, and fishing. There's an acre-sized secure courtyard to encourage outdoor activity. The campus also has a conservation easement, making sure woodlands, shoreline, and prairie stay preserved for everyone to enjoy.
Life at Cedar Lake Campus offers plenty of ways for residents to stay active and connected. Folks take part in music and art therapy, choirs, crafts, games, spiritual programs, and worship services including the Rosary and Bible study groups. There are community clubs, potluck dinners, trips, volunteer opportunities, artisan spaces, and coffee gatherings. Onsite, there's a pharmacy with free delivery, Cedar Lake Café, a casual eatery, and a resale shop called Cedar Closet. The larger organization runs Cedar Ridge Campus and Cedar Run Campus, each with its own services and neighborhoods, and bus tours show new residents the different home options. Cedar Community relies on nearly 400 employees and over 300 volunteers who care for around 900 residents.
