Creekside sits inside a three-story building and offers roomy apartments with nice kitchens, bath tubs, and options for one or two bedrooms, with floor plans around 566 or 817 square feet, so there's enough space to settle in, and they let both cats and dogs live there, which can give folks the comfort of a pet without the worry of strict rules about animals, and the community has both indoor and outdoor common areas where folks can gather for social activities like Bingo games, shopping trips, or just to chat with neighbors under the landscaped surroundings. The maintenance staff helps keep things in good shape, and residents can use scheduled shuttle services for outings or simple transportation needs like going grocery shopping, which saves the stress of driving. Creekside has different levels of care, from independent living at the Creekside at Taskers Chance, which is a 55+ option, all the way to assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing for those who might need more support, plus the staff there focus on helping with daily activities and medication management, and they even have special programs and on-site devotional activities and services for those who want them. The community wants residents to make memories and form real friendships, and with an all-inclusive set of services and a resident-centered approach, they do their best so seniors can feel comfortable, safe, and supported, whether they're living on their own or lean on staff for a bit more help; the property management team is hands-on, which makes it easier for everyone in the building to thrive and feel at home.
Lovely apartments but unreliable management
I moved my mom into Creekside and, overall, she's happy - the apartments are lovely and clean, the kitchen is nice, residents and many staff are friendly, and there are abundant activities (bingo, mall/Target shuttles, beauty salon) that make daily life pleasant. That said, the application process and management responsiveness are slow, landscaping and some cleanliness/odor issues go unaddressed, and maintenance can be unreliable (no 24-hour coverage, HVAC problems, even a broken-pipe incident); I also have privacy/theft concerns. I'd recommend Creekside cautiously if social life and apartment quality matter to you, but be aware of serious maintenance/management issues.
