    Nice community, great food, adequate

I like that the community looks nice and is well maintained, though it's an older building and some areas aren't in as good condition. The food is awesome - grilled fish on Fridays - and my mother eats there daily; meals are even delivered in icy weather. Staff and residents are friendly, the director and assistant are great, and there are regular activities and outings (horse races, library, grocery, nearby medical trips); pricing is comparable to other options. It's big with long walks to the community building and a bathtub that's a drawback, so it's not ideal for my 94-year-old dad; not fancy but adequate, and I'd like to see more energy efficiency.
