    Friendly community, excellent amenities, location

I live here and I'm grateful - friendly residents, a wide range of activities (excellent drawing and watercolor classes and a beginner-friendly ukulele group), and a beautiful, well-presented property with a great director. The gym and knowledgeable fitness advisor are top-notch, with three pools including lap lanes, and dining is varied, healthful and delicious. Staff from directors to cooks, drivers, servers and cleaners consistently go above and beyond. My only drawback is the Seattle location, which I find disappointing.

    About Mirabella

Mirabella sits in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood, close to parks, hiking trails, cafés, shops, and dog parks, so folks who live there can get out and enjoy the city or stay close to home as they wish. The place has a 46-bed skilled nursing facility, outpatient programs, different levels of care like assisted living, independent living, memory care, skilled nursing, long term care, and even residential care for children, which is unusual to find in most senior communities. The therapy staff is experienced and offers both inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy, with special programs such as Stand Strong, aquatic therapy, community reintegration, Chronic Conditions support, and a Cognitive Disabilities model. They've got equipment like the Omni VR system, two gyms - the first floor gym for outpatient work and the second floor rehab gym for residents - and clinical staff, including a therapist with Parkinson's programming expertise. The community uses the Spark Lifestyle Program, a Montessori-inspired method for people with memory issues like Alzheimer's and other dementias, which focuses on enriching daily life. You'll find restaurant-style dining in three dining rooms and four different restaurants, each with its own feel, with varied and healthy meals, plus three swimming pools, one big enough for lap swimming, and a well-outfitted gym with fitness advisors always around. The campus offers many activities such as drawing and watercolor classes, a ukulele group open to beginners, lectures, clubs, and wellness classes, meeting the needs of seniors who want to stay active. Residents come from many backgrounds-innovators, artists, musicians, foodies, and adventurers-so you'll meet people with interesting stories. There are rooms with lake views for treatment or meals, spacious living options, chances to customize your home, and help with daily needs is available for those who want it. This is a place where you don't have to leave if your care needs change over time, since they offer a continuum of living options and services all on one campus. They also provide answers to common questions and resources for those considering a career in senior care, and the environment feels friendly, with plenty of ways to stay engaged and connected as you get older.
