Silverado Lee’s Summit is a premier memory care community located in the New Longview area of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, offering specialized care for individuals living with dementia and other memory-impairing conditions. Purposefully designed with the unique needs of its residents in mind, the community is organized into three distinct care "neighborhoods," each providing different levels of support tailored to the varying stages of memory loss. The community places a strong emphasis on creating an enriching environment, with amenities and features focused on engagement, comfort, and safety.

The facility is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of professionals with extensive experience and passion for memory care. Administrator Jordan Wagner oversees operations, bringing a background as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Licensed Practical Nurse, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Medical care is led by Alicia Seck, FNP-C, whose expertise in geriatrics, hospice, and palliative care ensures a comprehensive approach to residents’ health and wellbeing. Nichelle Hall, RN, serves as Director of Health Services, drawing on experience in long-term care, psychiatric nursing, and dementia care to provide high-quality nursing support to residents.

Central to Silverado Lee’s Summit's approach to memory care is its internationally recognized Nexus program. Nexus is an evidence-based, non-drug initiative designed to improve cognition and daily functioning for residents in the early stages of dementia. Through a combination of purposeful engagement, social activities, and specialized interventions, Nexus aims to help individuals maximize their quality of life and maintain independence as long as possible.

Engagement and socialization are key aspects of life at Silverado Lee’s Summit. Morgan Clark, the Director of Resident Engagement, utilizes her expertise in assisted living and memory care to develop a daily calendar of activities tailored to stimulate the mind and spirit. Family and community connections are further supported by Whitney Sparks, the Family Ambassador, who guides new families through the transition and helps them navigate the various programs and activities available. Nicole McMonigle serves as the Community Ambassador, leveraging over two decades of experience in dementia care, consulting, and advocacy, and is dedicated to engaging the broader community and supporting families through education and outreach.

Supporting clinical operations, Reva Hammond fulfills the role of Clinical Staff Manager, providing compassionate and skillful oversight of residents’ medical needs. Each team member at Silverado Lee’s Summit brings a unique personal and professional background, enriching the environment with diverse talents and a unified commitment to person-centered care.

The physical spaces within Silverado Lee’s Summit reflect its ethos of comfort, safety, and engagement. Residents have access to beautifully maintained bedrooms, welcoming common rooms, a salon, patios for outdoor enjoyment, and dining rooms that foster social interaction over shared meals.
