      About Gleneagles Village

Gleneagles Village is a gated, age-restricted community located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, designed specifically for active adults aged 55 and over. Situated near The Links Golf Course in the Eastridge area, this established neighborhood offers both single-family and attached residences, totaling 345 homes. Construction began in 1984 with 160 attached homes built by the Mission Viejo Company and continued with an additional 185 single-family homes by Richmond Homes, completing the community in 2001. The homes feature low-maintenance exteriors and first-floor master suites, making them ideal for those seeking convenience and comfort. Attached homes range from 1,088 to 2,400 square feet, typically including two to three bedrooms, one to two-and-a-half bathrooms, and attached two-car garages. Single-family homes are slightly larger, offering between 1,685 and 2,123 square feet with similar bedroom and bathroom configurations.

The community is managed by the GEV Homeowners’ Association, which is responsible for a range of services such as lawn care, snow removal, house painting, roof maintenance, and trash removal. The association also owns and maintains the internal roads, using its funds to keep the neighborhood in excellent condition. This maintenance support provides residents with a worry-free lifestyle, further complimented by the community’s lush landscaping and many homes featuring scenic mountain or pond views thanks to their golf course adjacency.

At the heart of social and recreational life within Gleneagles Village is The Club, the community’s main clubhouse. Expansion efforts in 2003 added amenities including pool tables, card tables, and a resident-donated library that doubles as a gathering space with a big-screen TV. The catering kitchen was remodeled during this time, enhancing the ability to host a variety of social events; all improvements were funded through reserve funds with no increase in monthly dues. Other clubhouse features include an outdoor pool and a banquet room with a dance floor, providing venues for gatherings and celebrations. Residents also enjoy the outdoors with landscaped walking trails and scenic ponds that encourage an active and visually pleasing lifestyle.

One of Gleneagles Village’s key attractions is its proximity to The Links Golf Course—an 18-hole public course designed by Dick Phelps, stretching from 3,454 yards at the shortest tees to 4,800 yards at the back, and offering impressive views of the Rocky Mountains. Additionally, residents can purchase memberships to the recreation centers throughout Highlands Ranch, granting access to four comprehensive centers furnished with exercise facilities, meeting rooms, swimming pools, tennis courts, and more. Social life is vibrant within the community, supported by a full-time activities director who organizes a range of events such as casino trips, bunco nights, weekly bridge games, exercise classes, and Mah Jongg, as well as regular potlucks and social hours.

Gleneagles Village’s location further enhances its appeal, being close to shopping options like Highlands Ranch Town Center and Park Meadows Mall, and offering easy access to natural attractions such as The Wildlife Experience in Parker, Daniels Park, and the Backcountry Wilderness area. Nearby cities including Aurora, Littleton, and Denver are just a few miles away, providing a small-town atmosphere with convenient urban connections. All these features make Gleneagles Village a welcoming, value-oriented neighborhood for active adults who value community, comfort, and an abundance of amenities.
