    About Beckley Farms

Beckley Farms sits in an adult community set up for people aged 55 and older, offering a low-maintenance lifestyle in single-family homes built after 2006, with most homes showing features like vinyl siding, concrete foundations, and full basements with concrete floors. The homes typically have ranch style open floor plans with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and crown molding, along with first-floor master bedrooms with full baths and dual walk-in closets with built-in shelves. Each includes a two-car attached garage, a covered or attached back porch, a hot air heating system, central air, public water and sewer, and natural gas for heating and hot water. Residents can expect stainless steel appliances such as electric ranges and microwaves, along with Corian or granite countertops, pantries, and some with gas fireplaces. Floor plans usually range between 1,875 to just over 2,000 square feet, offering either two or three bedrooms and at least two bathrooms, with master suites and Jacuzzi tubs as well as offices in some third bedrooms.

The community has a monthly HOA fee of $299 that covers maintenance of the grounds, trash pickup, snow removal, road work, and property management, aimed at freeing up time for people to enjoy the community around them. While the clubhouse's still in the planning stages, future plans include a fitness center, multi-purpose rooms, and a catering kitchen for gatherings, group events, and wellness activities. For now, residents use the walking and biking trails and spend time in the open green spaces around homes. Some amenities already in place or planned for the future include a movie theater, spa and wellness room, activity and arts rooms, game room, library, and both dining and outdoor spaces.

Beckley Farms also offers community living with memory care, assisted living, independent living, and skilled nursing through its status as a Continuing Care Retirement Community, with 24-hour supervised care, emergency response systems, and respite care services available, as well as customized nursing plans. Services include daily living support, medication management, nutritious meals prepared by a professional chef with allergy-friendly options, as well as transportation, housekeeping, dry cleaning, and laundry services. Residents get private rooms with private baths, Wi-Fi, kitchenettes, cable TV, and telephones, and staff provide help with dressing, bathing, and personal care, with a secure environment for those that need memory care. Social activities, movie nights, and resident-run programs are scheduled, with options for outdoor recreation like golf, fishing, hiking, and seasonal skiing nearby, plus easy access to local healthcare. The whole setup is designed for adults wanting an active but low-maintenance lifestyle, with about 170 homes planned once building is finished.
