      About Chanteclair Villas

Chanteclair Villas, officially called CHANTECLAIR VILLAS RECREATION ASSOCIATION, INC., sits on the west side of Congress Avenue between Lake Ida Road and Woolbright Road in Boynton Beach, Florida, and since its start back on December 26, 1979, it's provided a retiree-friendly environment meant for those who want either a winter home as a snowbird or a full-time place near the beach, with shopping, restaurants, and fun close by, so folks don't need to go far for what they need. The community has 152 single-story villas, each with two bedrooms and two baths, its own one-car garage, and handy features like in-unit laundry rooms, updated master baths, separate bedroom layouts for privacy, and sometimes remodeled kitchens or electric panels, glassed-in Florida rooms with greenbelt or garden views, and hurricane protection like new impact windows and accordion shutters. Some villas have new roofs, including upgrades as recent as 2024, and a few have outdoor patios where you can sit and enjoy the open Florida air or keep things safe inside with covered rooms.

There's a homeowners' association-active and funded-that looks after the grounds, the streets, and the shared spaces, keeps annual records up to date, and manages everything through a board of directors, with board members like Karen Dougherty and Consuelo Garcia and officers who keep things in order, all working with Florida Property Management Services and a registered agent named Teresa Lemme, making sure the property stays in good shape and rules, which you can review in the HOA documents, are followed, using fines if needed. Along with the main association, the place has three sub-associations-Chanteclair Villas Condo Association 1, 2, and 3-each doing their part.

The amenities make daily living easier and a bit more comfortable, since everyone staying there gets access to two heated swimming pools, a clubhouse with a party room and kitchen, a dance floor for events, a fitness room, shuffleboard courts, a movie theater, a spa/wellness room, walking paths, a library, arts and activity rooms, scheduled daily and resident-run activities, and space for relaxing or social gatherings inside or outdoors. Villas come with fully equipped kitchens-most with pantries and room for a small table-plus air conditioning, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and furnishings to keep things homelike, and the grounds are designed for easy movement and access, helping both ambulatory and non-ambulatory folks around their day.

Chanteclair Villas provides care suited for older residents, including services for people who need daily help or have special dietary restrictions, so meals are prepared and served by a professional chef in a dining room, with options for all-day, restaurant-style dining and choices for allergies or diabetes. Residents can get assistance with things like dressing, bathing, moving between rooms, managing medication, and there's a 24-hour call system to get help when needed. There are also health supervision and medication management services for peace of mind. The community supports up to six residents in its assisted living portion, so care stays personal and manageable. Other services include regular housekeeping, laundry and dry cleaning, concierge help, family support, and move-in coordination, meaning less to worry about with daily chores.

The HOA keeps regular annual reports and updates its records, filing amendments as rules change, and keeps the place running as a Florida Not For Profit Corporation. Residents can participate in outdoor programs, games, movie nights, fitness programs, arts and crafts, or scheduled activities, making it easier to stay active and connect with neighbors. Villas, with their own private bathrooms, kitchenettes, high-speed internet, and phones, support comfortable, private living. Some meals, services, and activities have specific names or arrangements tied to the community, but whatever the need, from meal prep to medication tracking, the place aims to give people a well-supported, simple life focused on comfort, care, and community.
