      About Palm Shores

Palm Shores is a senior living community made for people 55 and older, and they put a lot of attention into comfort, health, and safety, which you can tell from the way the staff takes care of everything from meal preparation by skilled chefs for many different diets, including those with allergies or diabetes, right down to the help residents can get with their daily activities, medication, personal care, and even laundry or move-in services, which is a relief to many. The apartments have features for both safety and a homelike feeling, and the buildings, built in 1990 with updates the same year, have private spaces but also gathering rooms where folks can watch movies with their grandchildren or work on crafts in the dedicated arts room, and even a game room or a library for quieter times, while a fitness room and exercise classes keep everyone moving and encourage healthy habits. Outdoor patios and paths, a swimming pool, and even a tennis court create a nice social spot or a place to relax, while the lot itself is almost 12 acres, so there's room to spread out, and a central air system keeps things cool, with stone and stucco on the outside for a solid look. Inside, there's a fireplace and a spa, including a hot tub for relaxing, while spaces for group projects and scheduled community events offer ways for people to connect, and all activities from movie nights to programs run by residents add to a regular sense of involvement. Respite care helps primary caregivers get short breaks, which is helpful for families, especially since the care covers both assisted living and memory care, with health care services available around the clock for those who need it most. The Palm Shores at Gables End Association, Inc., runs the place, with James Lafaman and Louis Pitacciato as Directors, Claire Lambert as Secretary, and Mr. Terry Mayhew as President, and while the business isn't accredited by the BBB, legal protections for LGBTQ residents are in place federally and at the county level. There are two locations-one at 8530 Leeward Passage Circle in Boynton Beach, and another at 6620 Lake Worth Road, Suite F in Lake Worth, Florida. Every resident can expect community services from housekeeping to concierge help, family support, and plenty of amenities without fuss, and the focus always stays on what each person needs day by day, in a setting made to feel secure, inviting, and easy to live in after retirement.
