Your Parents' Place ADHC, LLC, which has been open in Morrow, Georgia since 2010, provides adult day health services for seniors and some younger adults with chronic illnesses or impairments, offering help during the day so families can keep loved ones cared for but living at home when possible, and the building offers space for up to 75 people. The center features dedicated areas for safety and comfort, including a section for memory care to help those with Alzheimer's or dementia stay secure and calm, along with programs that support independence, personal choice, and dignity. Staff-including founder Sophia Artist RN and administrator Rebecca Day-run a mix of activities like gardening, music, bingo, arts and crafts, and intergenerational visits, so there's always something for people to do, and you'll notice the mood stays friendly and respectful with many staff members on hand to help out. The staff helps with bathing, dressing, and medication, and they watch residents' health carefully, working with doctors and outside care providers when needed, while also serving chef-prepared meals and snacks. Your Parents' Place is open weekdays from early morning to late afternoon and takes private pay participants by appointment on Saturdays, offering help for those needing assisted living, independent living, or memory support, and even though there isn't a long list of amenities, the team focuses on making sure every person feels cared for, safe, and engaged in daily life. The center doesn't accept Medicare but is licensed for adult day health services, making it a useful option for families in the community who need a caring "home away from home" for loved ones during the day.
