The facility is designed to support medically complex patients, providing a seamless transition from area hospitals into a nurturing environment where individualized plans of care are established and maintained over an extended period.

A resident care planning conference is organized on a routine basis for every resident, bringing together the expertise of attending physicians, nurses, social workers, rehabilitation specialists, and administrative staff. The Resident Care Coordinator or an assigned Social Worker is available to provide residents and families with information regarding upcoming care conferences and to guide them through the care process.
Each resident at United Medical Nursing Center is paired with a Social Worker who offers support and guidance throughout their stay. The Social Worker, working closely with the Resident Care Coordinator, becomes an essential member of the resident’s care team, helping to address questions, resolve concerns, and provide referrals as needed. Nursing services at United Medical Nursing Center are available around the clock, seven days a week, ensuring that licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants are always on hand to provide high-quality care. Visiting hours are set from late morning through the evening, with accommodations available for after-hours visitation upon written request to the Administrator, specifically through Room 245.
