On With Life sits on the Ankeny campus and helps adults and older adults recover from brain injuries, strokes, concussions, Parkinson's disease, complex neurological problems, or spinal cord injuries-the place has been open since 1991 and has served more than 2,500 Iowans and their families over the years, and the staff there knows neuro-rehabilitation well, with a team that focuses on helping people get back as much independence as they can, so there's a big focus on therapy like physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
