Excellent therapy, but nursing neglect
I had excellent rehab - enthusiastic, skilled therapists, long daily therapy sessions, private roomy rooms and convenient location - I gained strength and weight. But nursing care was inconsistent and often neglectful: chronic understaffing, disorganized staff, very slow/no response to call buttons (30-60+ min), long waits for pain meds, delayed bathroom/bathing assistance, missed meals, and poor wound/incision care (bandages not changed, infections reported). Communication and handoffs were terrible - rude social work at times, phone outages, and equipment/insurance issues. Cleanliness and activities were hit-or-miss; kitchen and some aides were friendly, but overall I would not trust this place for acute post-surgical nursing needs despite the outstanding therapy.
