Caring staff but poor communication
I'm grateful for the genuinely caring, competent and attentive staff - nurses, the rehab team, social worker, hospice and music therapy all provided excellent, respectful care after my hip surgery. The place felt like family, was clean, Covid-safe, and good value for limited income. That said, the building is older and occasionally shabby, and administration/communication is poor: phones often go unanswered, emails rejected, staff hard to reach, and I experienced missed updates and delivery/transfer confusion. Overall I trust the clinical care and would recommend it for rehab/hospice needs, but be prepared for frustrating communication and an older facility.
