    Five star compassionate dementia care

I had a five-star experience at Navita - the owners and staff were attentive, respectful and genuinely caring, providing patient, high-quality dementia care. The facility is clean, homey and airy with French doors to a lovely backyard, spacious accessible rooms and a comfortable living room. Homemade tasty meals, a good caregiver-to-resident ratio, efficient operations and fair fees made my stay easy and reassuring. I highly recommend Navita.

    About Navita Residences Camarillo

Navita Residences Camarillo is a senior living community in Camarillo, California, where seniors can get care that fits different needs, whether they need a lot of help or just a little support, and people often say the staff is friendly, kind, and helpful to both residents and visitors, so there's always someone nearby if a resident needs assistance. The place has a focus on helping families make long-term care decisions, with staff trained in senior care, both for seniors who are independent and those needing memory care for Alzheimer's or dementia, and the facilities are kept peaceful and welcoming, set in a neighborhood with three homes that each serve up to six seniors for a total of fewer than ten beds per home, giving everything a more homey feel compared to big facilities. Residents can pick from private or shared, furnished rooms, and the homes are equipped for wheelchairs with roll-in showers in the bathrooms, making sure everyone can move around safely, and for those who need more help with mobility, non-ambulatory care is available as well. Navita's team has extra training in medication help, elderly nutrition, emergency procedures, first aid, and dementia, and there's 24-hour non-medical supervision and care, so someone's there day and night to help with things like bathing, dressing, or getting from bed to chair. The place has strong safety features like an emergency alert system to keep residents safe, and there's physical therapy leadership at the top, which brings more focus on well-being.

Those staying here have access to meal programs that make 1 or 2 nutritious meals a day with options for allergies or diabetes, even kosher and vegetarian selections, so no one is left behind, and the homes come with services like housekeeping, laundry, and dry cleaning, which makes life easier for everyone. The backyard and covered patio offer nice spots to relax or talk with friends, and there's a large TV for movies, Wi-Fi so people can stay connected, and a dining room for group meals. Social activities are woven into daily life, so there are things like movie nights, organized group events, and activities that help keep everyone engaged physically, emotionally, and mentally, even for those who can't get out much. Residents with spiritual needs get support too, as staff take a holistic approach, looking after more than just the physical side of care. Navita offers move-in coordination to help new residents get settled without stress, and the website makes it easy for families to look up reviews, check pricing, and see ratings that are verified through SeniorAdvisor.com, with published room prices and types to make planning simple. Navita's reviews average five stars, showing people appreciate the environment and services.

Licensed (#565850242) and following state rules, Navita acts as an adult foster home, sometimes called personal care homes or assisted living homes, making it part of a community that covers assisted living, memory care, independent living, nursing care, and continuing care, so someone can often stay as their needs change over time. Staff focus on helping residents stay independent as long as possible, encouraging self-care and supporting both mental and physical health, and for those with issues like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke, or depression, the staff are trained to provide thoughtful, tailored care. The homes are kept tidy and comforting, with landscaped surroundings that are good for walks or quiet outdoor time, and with all these details, Navita tries to give residents a place of care, dignity, and peace, staying practical and supportive every day.
