    About Hollister Care Home

Hollister Care Home sits inside a spacious mansion with old-world charm and a laid-back island feel, where the air always smells clean thanks to advanced filters that catch viruses, bacteria, smoke, and pollen, and everything gets disinfected a few times every day so no one has to worry about dirty surfaces. The staff provides 24/7 awake care and supervision for residents, helping with grooming, bathing, transfers, dressing, and using the restroom with products each person prefers, and there's always help at hand for medication, diabetes care, or connecting with healthcare providers if anything changes. In the mornings, folks wake up in fully furnished, single bedrooms with natural light, art, cozy cotton linens, custom closets, dimmable lights, fast internet, TVs, and doors that open onto the peaceful, landscaped grounds or sometimes to intimate seating areas with SAD lighting for those who like to stay indoors. Every bed is single occupancy, and there are six licensed rooms, with a few set up for people who stay in bed most of the day, and residents who need memory care or face mild cognitive troubles find tailored programs or dementia support without being rushed or overlooked.

Concierge services help families and residents track down resources, and there are a variety of meals made from wholesome ingredients-including homecooked favorites and bone broth-with dedicated dining rooms where meals turn into social affairs and guests are welcome, plus a tea and coffee bar that stays open. Staff buy everything down to the detergent and dryer sheets for laundry, making sure clothes and linens stay fresh, and rooms and common spaces are all kept neat. Every resident receives an individualized care plan that changes as needs change, focusing on helping people hang onto their independence and dignity while still feeling comfortable and secure. Residents can bring pets, and staff try hard to keep everyone's routine familiar-from help with hygiene to gentle activities that encourage movement and outdoor time, so there's never a feeling of being left out or forgotten if someone likes to stay quiet.

Hollister Care Home isn't a huge place, topping out at ten beds, so the residents, caregivers, and visitors all get to know each other, and the environment is warm and supportive. Whether someone needs short-term respite care, long-term stays, or hospice support, the staff covers it, including for those living with dementia or other behavioral needs. There's always something for every mood, whether spending time in the grand hall for a holiday party, relaxing with music in a small lounge with a piano, browsing the library or computer center, or just getting fresh air at one of seven shaded outdoor spots, patios, koi pond, gardens, or a quiet courtyard. For indoor visits, no one has to crowd, because there are eight different spaces just for sitting, chatting, or reading under original artwork and among plants or modern furniture, and everything stays calm and inviting. Transportation can be arranged for both medical and personal reasons, so no one feels stuck. Staff focus on helping residents keep up with their favorite hobbies, socialize, and get exercise with simple activities in safe common areas and outside in the sunshine. Hollister Care Home operates as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly, with board and care style housing that's both home-like and practical, offering assisted living, memory care, respite, hospice, and long-term care, for folks who want straightforward support, plenty of comfort, and a chance to keep their own routines just the way they like them.
